Math Rush — Privacy Policy

Effective 9 October 2026

The short version

Math Rush does not ask for your name, your email, or an account of any kind. We do not know who you are.

Your progress is saved on your device. The game sends anonymous usage and crash information to Google Firebase so we can fix bugs and see which levels are too hard.

The game shows advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. Those ads use an advertising identifier held by your device, which you control in your device settings.

Purchases in the game are optional. Google Play handles them — we never see your payment details.

Stored on your device

Your level progress, star grades, coin balance, sound settings, which character skins you have unlocked and which purchases you have made are stored on your device only. They are never uploaded.

You can clear them at any time with Reset Progress in Options, or by uninstalling the game.

Sent to Firebase

Analytics: which level was started, completed or failed, which gate you chose, how long a session lasted, and similar gameplay events. Alongside these, Firebase records standard technical information — device model, operating system version, country, language — and a randomly generated app instance identifier. Firebase Analytics may also use your device's advertising identifier, derive your approximate location from your IP address, and record in-app purchase events with the product and its price.

Crash reporting: if the game crashes or hits an error, a report is sent describing the fault and the state of the device at the time.

Game settings: when the game starts, it asks Firebase Remote Config whether any game settings have been changed — for example, how often ads appear. That request uses the same randomly generated app identifier and carries no information about how you play.

None of this identifies you personally, and none of it is sold.

Never collected

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, contacts, photos, precise location, or payment details.

Advertising

Math Rush shows advertisements supplied by Google AdMob. There are two kinds: a full-screen ad shown between levels, and an optional ad you can choose to watch to double the coins from a win. The optional one is never shown unless you tap the button that asks for it.

To select and measure ads, Google uses your device's advertising identifier together with technical information such as device model, operating system version, general location derived from your IP address, and how you interacted with an ad. This is handled by Google, not by us — we receive only aggregate counts of how many ads were shown.

You can reset or delete your advertising identifier at any time in your device's settings (on Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads). Deleting it does not stop ads, but it stops them being tailored to you.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the game asks for your consent before showing personalised ads. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised.

Google's own advertising privacy information is at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

Purchases

Math Rush offers optional purchases: Remove Ads, and character skins that can also be unlocked with coins earned by playing. Every purchase is handled entirely by Google Play: we never see your card, your billing address or your payment details.

The game asks Google Play which of these your account owns — when it starts, when you buy one, and when you use Restore Purchases. It receives only the answer to that question, and stores it on your device.

We record that a purchase was attempted and how it ended, with no information about you or your payment. Google's own terms and privacy policy cover the transaction itself.

Google Play Games

The game has a leaderboard run by Google Play Games. If your device is signed in to Google Play Games, the game submits your total star count to that leaderboard, where it appears next to your Play Games profile name and picture. The game never asks you to sign in unless you open the leaderboard yourself.

Signing in is optional, and the game works fully without it. Who can see your Play Games profile is controlled in your Google Play Games settings. Google's own terms and privacy policy cover that account.

Who else is involved

Google, as the provider of Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Firebase Remote Config, AdMob, Google Play billing and Google Play Games, processes the data described above. Google's own privacy policy applies to that processing and can be read at policies.google.com/privacy.

Children

Math Rush is not directed at children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Significant changes will be described in the release notes.
